Andreas Pedersen

My core passion is digital design, implementing fast and efficient algorithms targeting ASICs. Alongside a broad interest in general computing and computer architecture, I enjoy working across the entire stack. From transistor level to RTL design, verification and hardware/software co-design. I love building complex system from the ground up.

Career overview

Andreas Pedersen was born in 2000 in Denmark.

He received his BSc in Electrical Engineering from Aarhus University in 2024, and his MSc in 2026, completing his master's thesis at imec in Eindhoven. Alongside his studies he worked part-time for three years at STMicroelectronics, validating graphics IPs on early silicon and FPGAs.

In 2026 he joined MICAS at KU Leuven as a PhD researcher, supervised by Prof. Marian Verhelst.
