Career overview

Tim Rens was born in Leuven, Belgium in 2000.

In 2022, he received the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the KU Leuven, Belgium. The subject of his Master's thesis was "Design of ring amplifiers for high-performance ADCs".

In 2023, he completed the postgraduate "Tech Innovations in Ventures and Teams" due to his work as an electrical engineer at Formula Electric Belgium.

Currently, he is a research assistant at MICAS where he is working towards a PhD degree on high-voltage power converters, under the guidance of Prof. dr. ir. Filip Tavernier.
