Robin Geens received the BSc. degree in Engineering Science and MSc. degree in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven, Belgium, in 2021 and 2023 respectively. In continuation of his master's thesis on hardware design for post-quantum cryptography, he started his career with the commercialization of hardware acceleration for Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE).
In 2024, Robin joined the MICAS research group at KU Leuven as a research assistant, working under the guidance of prof. dr. ir. Marian Verhelst. He is currently pursuing a PhD on the topic of efficient hardware implementations of heterogeneous systems for generative AI at the edge.
