Jun Yin was born in Jiangsu, China in 1995.
He received his B.E. and M.E. degrees from Fudan University, China, in 2017 and 2019, respectively. The subject of his master thesis was on the workflow optimization for deep neural networks at the heterogeneous AMD CPU-GPU platform.
At present, he is pursuing his PhD degree at ESAT-MICAS under the supervision of Prof. Marian Verhelst. His efforts are focusing on the energy-efficient accelerator architecture exploration under the context of hybrid applications with signal processing and machine learning.
