Career overview

Joren Dumoulin was born in Oostende, Belgium in 1999.

He graduated from KU Leuven, Belgium in 2023 with his Master thesis on "Hardware Acceleration for Hybrid Vision Transformer Networks on the Edge".

Currently, he works as a research assistant at the MICAS research group under the guidance of prof. Marian Verhelst towards a Ph.D. degree on efficient hardware architectures for deep learning applications. His research focuses on compilers and schedulers for heterogeneous multi-core AI platforms.
