Career overview

Shuangmu Li was born in Xinjiang, China, in 1997.

He obtained his BSc degree in Electronic Information Engineering from Zhejiang University, China, in 2019. He then pursued his first MSc degree in Microelectronic System Design at the University of Southampton, UK, graduating in 2020. During this time, his research focused on compilers for customized fully integrated synchronized SRAM design, digital circuit design for embedded systems.

From 2020 to 2021, Shuangmu worked as an Analog Integrated Circuit Design Engineer in Hangzhou, China, with the AP Memory PSRAM design team. He then embarked on his second Master’s degree in Microelectronics from 2021 to 2023, specializing in power management IC design. His thesis was titled "A Hybrid-Hysteresis-CFM Control Method Recursive Switched-Capacitor DC-DC Converter with Ripple Reduction and Load Transition Enhancement".

In March 2024, Shuangmu joined MICAS at KU Leuven as a research assistant to pursue a PhD under the guidance of Prof. dr. ir. Filip Tavernier. His research focuses on ultra-high-speed analog-to-digital converters.
