Career overview

Karen Vanhalle, received a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2022 and a M.Sc. degree in Biomedical Engineering with a specialisation in Bio-Electronics in 2024 at the KU Leuven. During her studies, she went one semester abroad to study at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Currently, she is working as a PhD research assistant in the MICAS research group under supervision of Prof. Georges Gielen. Her research involves analog and mixed design for adaptive, neuromorphic circuits to enable lifelong learning on the edge .
