Career overview

Faedra Webers was born in Genk, Belgium in 1997.

In 2020, she received the M.Sc. degree in Biomedical Engineering from the KU Leuven, Belgium. The titel of her Master’s thesis was “High Resolution Neurostimulation For The Visual Cortex - Electronic Design”.
In 2022, she received the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the KU Leuven, Belgium. The subject of her second Master’s thesis was “Design of an adaptable ADC, ranging from 5-15bits with a BW between 1Hz-5MHz, in the open source SKY130 technology.”.

Currently, she is a research assistant at MICAS where she is working towards a PhD degree on Cryo-CMOS  RF/mm-wave circuits for quantum computing, under the guidance of Prof. Patrick Reynaert and Prof. Filip Tavernier.
